Prosecution’s case/defense response: Dugan abducted, raped, and beat to death Jeanine Nicarico (age 10). Two others were already convicted with Nicarico’s murder before being cleared of the crime by DNA evidence. The initial investigator had quit in protest after the other two individuals were arrested. Dugan eventually admitted to the crime.
